Parliament for You
How can I lobby my MP?
You do not need to go to the Commons to lobby me - you can write to or email me, or come to one of my advice sessions.
To see me at the House, a prior appointment is needed, though you can always try your luck if you are there - you may just catch me!
How can I visit Parliament?
If you would like to visit the House of Commons, for a tour or to listen to a debate or a question time, please contact my Commons' office on 020 7219 1102.
Tours
When Parliament is sitting tours take place as follows:
Monday and Tuesday: 9am-12pm (full tour)
Wednesday: 9am-9.20am (full tour) and 9.25am-12pm (partial tour of Lords only)
Thursday: no tours
Friday: 3.30pm-5pm (full tour)

Question Time and Debates
UK residents can watch laws being made and debates in both Houses by visiting the public galleries when Parliament is in session. Tickets from your MP are necessary to secure entrance to Question Time and Prime Minister's Question Time in the House of Commons. MPs only have a limited allocation of tickets for example about 2 for about 4 Prime Minister's Question Time every year.
Liberal Democrat News
“It’s time for David Cameron to come clean about the position of his new alliance on policing and justice.
“With the UUP saying one thing, and the Tories saying the complete opposite, voters will struggle to understand what exactly joint Tory/UUP candidates stand for.
“What we’re seeing is the Tories in complete disarray. When it takes George Bush to step in as the voice of reason, it’s clear that David Cameron has dug himself a very big hole.
“This raises serious questions about David Cameron’s judgement. If he can’t manage to steer a straight course in opposition, how on earth would he cope as Prime Minister?”
